Data Retention
Chat Messages and Media
- Active Chats: Stored indefinitely while your account is active
- Deleted Chats: When you delete a conversation:
- Immediately removed from your view in the app
- Retained on our servers for 30 days for safety, legal compliance, and dispute resolution
- Permanently deleted from our servers after 30 days (if both users deleted the chat)
- May be retained longer if required for ongoing investigations or legal proceedings
- Shared Media: Images and videos in chats follow the same retention policy as messages
Videos and Content
- Uploaded Videos: Stored while your account is active or until you delete them
- Copyright Violations: Strike records retained for 90 days as per our copyright policy
- Reported Content: May be retained for investigation and legal purposes
Account Information
- Active Accounts: Profile data stored indefinitely
- Deleted Accounts: Removed within 30 days, except data required for legal compliance
- Backup Retention: Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days for disaster recovery

Age Restrictions
DailyClips is strictly intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly allow minors to use the platform.
- Age Verification: Mandatory 18+ age verification at registration
- No Minor Data: No collection of personal information from users under 18
- Account Enforcement: Accounts found to belong to minors are terminated immediately
